The Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network invites you to a Fundraiser and Film Premiere of RISING, ROOTED, AND RESILIENT a short documentary from Thriving Communities highlighting the vital work of DBCFSN. This film celebrates how D-Town® Farm nurtures sustainable agriculture while deepening cultural connections and building resilient community bonds on the spring equinox, Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Mama Imani Humphrey Banquet Hall at the Detroit Food Commons.
DBCFSN is a grassroots organization transforming Detroit's food landscape through community organizing and innovative solutions. Building Black food sovereignty requires various funding streams to support our movement; fundraisers are essential for sustaining and advancing our mission.
