SAVE THE DATE FUNDRAISER social.png

Save-the-Date! The Detroit Black Community Food Sovereignty Network invites you to a Fundraiser and Film Premiere on Spring Equinox featuring three short documentaries produced by Thriving Communities that highlight the vital work of DBCFSN and two women-led farms: Camp Creek Organic Produce and Red Acre Farm. These moving films capture the essence of "Rising, Rooted, and Resilient," celebrating how these organizations nurture sustainable agriculture while deepening cultural connections and building resilient community bonds. Join us for a banquet, panel discussion, and community conversation.

The event will be held in the Mama Imani Humphrey Banquet Hall at The Detroit Food Commons. DBCFSN is a grassroots organization that has transformed Detroit's food landscape through community organizing and innovative solutions.
