What’s for dinner Khetnu (FB and IG Post).png

Khetnu Nefer is a Gullah Geechee holistic health practitioner, womb warrior, and passionate advocate for women's wellness. Originally from John’s Island, SC, she carries the wisdom of her ancestors into her work, blending traditional and modern healing practices to empower women on their wellness journeys. An Army veteran, uterine cancer survivor, and licensed massage therapist with two decades of experience, Khetnu integrates multiple healing modalities, including herbalism, sound therapy, auricular therapy, and Egyptian yoga. She is also a certified birth doula, Kukuwa African dance instructor, author, dancer, and former massage professor, offering a unique, culturally rooted approach to holistic health. A graduate of the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon, Khetnu founded A Soulful Touch Wellness, a mobile holistic health company now based in Washington, D.C. Through workshops, wellness products, and therapeutic services, she helps women reclaim their health, particularly in womb healing and self-care rituals. Khetnu is also the visionary behind the Gullah Geechee Herbal Gathering, a conference dedicated to preserving and celebrating Black and Indigenous herbal traditions, hosted on her family’s ancestral land in John’s Island, SC.
